HEAVY EQUIPMENT MECHANIC (Journeyman) (5)

Reporting to the Service Supervisor, this position is required to service our T282 fleet of ultra class electro-mechanical haul trucks.

Job Duties Overview:
Working as the mechanical team member assist with all aspects of maintenance and repair of T282 series heavy haul trucks in both a shop and field environments
Shop equipment maintenance and repair
Occasional light vehicle maintenance and repairs
Installation of warranty upgrades and product improvements
Mentor assigned apprentices from time to time
Other duties as required
Qualifications Required:
Must have Canadian/Alberta Red Seal Heavy Equipment Technician designation or equivalent
Must have a solid mechanical background
Demonstrated high level of diagnostic skills
Previous experience working with heavy equipment, mining trucks a definite asset
Must have a valid driver’s license and passport
This position works a 14 days, 14 off, 14 nights and 14 off rotation.
